SPECIAL EVENT June 29-July 1: Lest We Forget's WWII Re-enactment returns! Beach landings, Commemorative Air Force plane rides, Hanger Dance, troop encampment, Iwo Jima flag raising, Chow Hall and Medal of Honor recipients.

Feel the sun & breeze while touring an orchard, as sweet & tart cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, pears and apples ripen in season. Enjoy a meal in Tree-Mendus Fruit Farm's Picnic Valley or watch their International Cherry Pit Spit each July. Hub-and-spoking from St. Joseph's quaint shopping and art venues takes you to the expansive Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo - or kayaking the Dowagiac River - or to encourage both teams during a vintage baseball game at Mary's City of David. Head for the sugar sand of Silver Beach in St. Joseph (voted in the top 10 of US famliy beaches) or Weko Beach in Bridgman to relax for what should be a spectacular sunset at day's end.
