This is your invitation to come and visit Greater Lansing, Michigan's capital region. A destination with big city amenities and small-town hospitality, a home to world-class attractions and classic Midwestern communities.

Just in downtown Lansing you can immerse yourselves in the gorgeous splendor of a meticulously restored-yet functioning State Capitol Building, walk through multiple eras of Michigan history at the Michigan History Museum and cruise on in to Lansing’s automotive legacy of pioneer Ransom E. Olds at the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum. And there’s more. Minor league baseball, professional soccer, a 15-mile-long river trail and a riverboat to hop aboard are waiting for you. And that’s just downtown.

Make the three-mile drive to East Lansing and visit the lush campus of Michigan State University. You’ll leave cheering “Go Green” with options for a single or multiple day options because there’s so much to learn. MSU offers tours of the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum, the particle accelerating and nuclear physics facilities and Big Ten sporting arenas. Add to that an assortment of delightful horticulture teaching gardens as well.

Greater Lansing also encompasses many surrounding communities with their own quaint main streets and visitor attractions. Grand Ledge, Mason, St. Johns and Williamston to name a few.

So plan on Greater Lansing.

Affordable and comfortable.

Not too big. Not too small. Just right.

Come visit. Love Lansing like a local and you’ll feel right at home.
