Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours & Sault Historic Sites Announce 5th Annual Family Fun Day – May 31, 2026

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI — Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours and Sault Historic Sites are proud to invite Eastern Upper Peninsula residents to the 5th Annual Family Fun Day, taking place Sunday, May 31, 2026.

For a suggested monetary donation of $15 or more at each participating site, Eastern U.P. residents with proper identification can enjoy a Famous Soo Locks Boat Tour, explore the Museum Ship Valley Camp, or take in the breathtaking views from the Tower of History.

Event Schedule & Details

Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours will operate three special Family Fun Day cruises at:

• 10:00 AM
• 12:30 PM
• 3:00 PM

Each departure has a maximum capacity of 150 guests, and seating is first come, first served.

Museum Ship Valley Camp and the Tower of History will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Benefiting the “I AM THE STORM” Memorial Scholarship

All proceeds raised at each tour site will be donated to the “I AM THE STORM” Mackenzie (Kalchik) Paul Memorial Scholarship, established through the Chippewa County Community Foundation.
