Welcome to Flint & Genesee County a place filled with discoveries, where you will find a rich history and a bright future. Home to such wonderful attractons as the second largest are gallery in the state-The Flint Institute of Arts and the largest planetarium in the Midwest-Longway Planetarium.

If culinary tours are what you are looking for, we have an abundance of farm markets, orchards, and dairy farms. We also have beautiful Applewood Estates, an 18 acre estate belonging to the Mott Family, which is a horticulturist's dream.

You can step back in time and visit an 1800's working village-Crossroads Village and the Huckleberry Railroad. Sloan Museum details the history of Flint and Genesee County. Whaley House, a Victorian mansion is your stop for tea and scones.

If entertainment is what you are looking for then there is Whiting Auditroiums Showcase Series, McCree Community Theater and the Renaissance Festival open during the months of August and September on the weekends.

Shopping more your speed?  We are conveniently located between the two largest shopping malls in the state, Great Lakes Crossing and Birch Run Premium Outlets not to mention the antique malls, Genesee Valley and Courtland Center found in our own county.
