Description
The 158-acre Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park features Michigan's largest tropical conservatory, a carnivorous plant house, desert and Victorian gardens, outdoor gardens;  Lena Meijer Children's Garden, Michigan's Farm Garden, 8 acre Japanese Garden and the Midwest's most comprehensive outdoor sculpture collection featuring the 3 story tall Leonardo da Vinci horse. Over 100 pieces of permanent sculpture. Including: Rodin, Oldenburg, Moore, Plensa, Degas, di Suvero and Chihuly to name a few. Open year round.

Also, don't miss the indoor sculpture galleries, cafe', gift shop, and narrated tram tours, all barrier free. Chrysanthemum exhibit Mid. September-Oct. 31. Holiday exhibit-Featuring over 40 Trees from around the world, G-scale Railway train exhibit too! Mid.November- December. Largest temporary Butterfly exhibit in the nation- March-April. Offered Tours are: Outdoor Tram tour, Indoor "BIG" tour, Agricultural Tour, Behind the scene tour, Art in the Park and a Japanese Garden Tour are here waiting for you!
