Description
The Michigan History Center and its 11 historical sites and museums are family-friendly places where people of all ages can have fun actively learning about their heritage and the history of Michigan through exhibits, special events and diverse programming. The Michigan History Museum in Lansing, which is open seven days a week, features five floors of exhibits that provide a walk through Michigan’s rich history. Open seasonally, the Center’s statewide network of historical sites and museum provide in-depth looks into Michigan history topics, such as the Upper Peninsula’s iron industry, 19th century lumbering, Native American petroglyphs, women’s history and more.
