Description
Stahls Automotive Collection in Chesterfield, Michigan displays more than 100 classic cars from the Brass, Depression, Pre/Post War and Modern Eras; including one-of-a-kind treasures such as, a 1948 Tucker, 1963 Chrysler Turbine, and 1926 A.C. Roadster.

With over 100 more cars in storage, the collection swaps vehicles out to keep the display fresh. The Stahl Family is dedicated to sharing the collection with as many people as possible.

Open free to the public on select days, visitors can experience the cars and multi-sensory exhibits—original Route 66 signage, vintage neon lights and gas pumps, a drive-in theater, a 50’s diner replica and interactive displays.

The Stahls Automotive Foundations goal is to educate and inspire people with an appreciation for the history of automotive design and its impact on life as we know it.”

Additionally, it’s all set to the bells and whistles of a 1924 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ and other fantastical, mechanical music machines.

Stahls is home to a number of restored and operational automated musical instruments dating from the early 20th century. See and hear the Mortier 97 key dance organ built in Belgium in 1922.

Stahls Automotive Collection also contains decades of gas pumps along with porcelain steel and neon signs from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Step back in time in a full-size diorama of a Big Boy restaurant where you can sit in a booth or at the counter and listen to the jukebox playing your favorite 50s hits!
