It's nothing less than amazing that a town as small as Holland, Michigan can host an event as large as Tulip Time. The Festival's most important resource is the townspeople who make it possible to welcome nearly half a million visitors to the city each year.

The City of Holland plants early, mid and late blooming variety tulips. The early tulips typically start blooming around the third week in April. Overall blooming continues through most of May depending on the weather. The peak is usually around Mother's Day or a few days later.

Our annual celebration of Dutch heritage and culture is a multi-generational event that has something for everyone. Three amazing parades, traditional Dutch Dance performances, concerts, theatre, Dutch attractions, Dutch food, children’s events, trolley tours and so much more!

Holland Michigan about 30 minutes west of Grand Rapids along the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa.
